Welcome to the Food Trust Scotland
Promoting Scotland's Finest Food
The Food Trust Scotland exists to develop a wider public understanding of the natural goodness, culture, and heritage of
Scotland's fine food. It seeks to improve Scottish health through education and training, research and publication. Further, to communicate

Urgent news: St Andrews Day Lunch Postponed.
Following our recent meeting we reluctantly took the decision to postpone the lunch scheduled for the 27th Nov, until March/April of next year.
The main reason was the fact that very few people had actually committed to attending, mainly (we believe) due to the fact that the weather last year was so bad.
Congratulations to Whitmuir Organics
who won the Best Organic Retailer in the UK Award as part of the Organic Products Europe trade show 2011.
Also congratulations to Nichola Fletcher, Vice-Chair and Trustee, whose book 'Caviar, a Global History' along
with three other titles in the 'Edibles' Series has just been given a Special Award at the André Simon Awards (Food writers' Oscars).
We should also mention Joe Queen, who presided over the catering at the CIS Excellence Awards Dinner in Glasgow's Hilton. Here's
Arthur's report on the sumptuous fare on offer |
